American Sail AquaCat 14
Price:
$ 3695.00

The larger version of one of the world's most popular one design catamarans brings you performance, simplicity and weight carrying capabilities not offered in other catamarans this size. Featuring wide, flat bottom hulls with turned up bows and a small keel skeg, the pontoon design is unequaled in weight carrying capacity and planing speed. The small keels have replaced the daggerboards used on the smaller Aqua Cat and allow for easy beaching thru the surf. Designed for ocean sailing or inland lakes this cat has it all. The Aqua Cat 14 is ideal for four large adults or where capabilities to support 1,000 lbs. are needed.
The boomless sail rig supported by the tubular "a" frame provides simplicity and safety not found in traditional wire shroud designs. One sheetline and a simple tiller arrangement result in sailing simplicity, fun and excitement. Weighing in at 230 lbs. and with a 6-1/2 foot beam, it can easily be car topped or trailered to your favorite spot on the beach. Constructed of hand laid fiberglass, anodized aluminum tubing and stainless steel fasteners, maintenance is at a minimum. The rudder system is durable all aluminum construction with gudgeons through bolted to aluminum plates inside the hull and features wide performance designed aluminum blades. Positive foam flotation in each hull, plus the added feature of the mast flotation ball provide a measure of confidence and safety.
Standard features include spring loaded kick up rudders, 105 sq. ft. Dacron two colored sail, a 360 quick release cleat and rudder lift systems. Available with white hulls with red side stripes and four sail combinations, the Aqua Cat offers a performance fun package not to be missed. Experience the Aqua Cat feeling.

American Sail Aquafinn

The ideal performance daysailer for use by the inexperienced as well as the seasoned skipper. Designed for multi-person use, or family situations where a durable, simple sailing craft is desired. EXPERIENCE THE AQUA FINN EXCITEMENT!
AQUA FINN - An exciting accomplishment in the world of small daysailers. Designed for the inexperienced sailor or those seeking sailing performance, simplicity, and durability. The ideal boat for training, rental, or resort use with features not available in other competitive daysailers of this size and price range:
-A cockpit large enough to accommodate two adults with an adjustable hiking strap and an aft cockpit drain.
-An all aluminum spring loaded kick up rudder system which is designed to hold the rudder blade in a locked down position yet will kick up when beaching.
-Rudder constructed of aluminum for durability, and includes a tiller extension and rudder lift system to raise or lower the rudder blade from the cockpit.
The high performance hull design features a high entry bow with a roll "v", designed to lift the bow of the AQUA FINN through the waves and allow for greater performance from the planing hull.
The hull is constructed of handlaid fiberglass utilizing a sandwich core of "coremat". This new type construction generates stiffness in both hull and deck not normally achieved through conventional fiberglass layups. In addition, the stiffness of the "coremat" construction generates light weight that is advantageous to speed and ease in cartopping.
The deck design includes a molded in splash rail and a roll cap joint which bonds the hull deck with a 90 degree joint. The gunnel joint includes a black vinyl rub rail that is thru bolted every four inches to achieve a superior bond of the hull and deck.
The seventy-five square foot multi-colored sail incorporates sail sleeves for both booms to achieve maximum sail pocket control.
Standard equipment includes Harken pulley blocks on the boom and in the cockpit for mainsheet control. An optional feature is the Harken Swivel Cam Cleat pictured.
Offered in off white hull with multi-color accent striping and a choice of two sail colors.
